Nicole Plea in the Works?

As the case gears up to get started, rumors are flying that Nicole Richie's lawyers will be taking a plea agreement that has been offered to the accused Nicole. With her motion for a continuance hanging in the balance, and Nicole in Canada it is uncertain whether the plea will be taken, or whether it will be a fast haul back to L.A. to be on time for court.

Prison Break Lane Garrison Hitting the Beach

With his real life starting to look like prison is only a few steps away Lane Garrison was spotted roaming the beaches of Malibu yesterday. Wondering why he's looking at prison in real life as well as the show? Easy, Lane was driving a car that was involved in an accident and has been responsible for killing one teenager and injuring two others. The blood alcohol level that Lane was arrested with was a whopping 0.20 which is more than 2 times the legal limit! Also adding to his problems is the positive test for cocaine. With a confession on the books for vehicular manslaughter he is looking at up to 6 years and 8 months behind bars when he is sentenced on August 2nd.

Nicole's Continuance Given a No Go

Uh oh, seems as if one Hollywood blond should have told another Hollywood blond that pissing off someone with the authority to send you to jail is a big no no these days. With Paris fresh from the jail scene herself, you would think Nicole would be playing good girl in court. Instead she was busy requesting a continuance until August 5th, however the commissioner hearing her case has said no and that the court proceeding will start tomorrow at 8:30a.m. as scheduled no exceptions. Let's see how this little Simple Life girl is able to survive court.

Here's a tip, learn from Paris and at least show up on time if nothing else. Don't keep a judge waiting unless you don't mind waiting behind bars a few days.
